5 axis system

In the last 20 years CMM Lab invested most of its resources on the development of processing activities performed by 5-axis machining centres: they offer higher precision and make it possible to obtain superior geometries and finishes. All our machining centres are equipped with “zero-point” systems, for fast setting and considerable savings in set up costs.
Solid partnerships with skilled and certified suppliers make C.M.M. Lab highly reliable and thus a trusted partner for its customers, rather than simply a supplier.
All heat and surface treatments are carried out by internationally certified companies, so as to guarantee top quality finished products

Dimensional checks and production planning

In compliance with company procedures, dimensional checks are performed at the start, on raw materials, and at the end, on the finished product, by means of 3D measuring machines.
The company is also designing a platform, which will be accessible to all its customers with the correct login and password, that will help track the progress of individual orders and monitor the production flows on an ongoing basis.

3D development

The CMM Lab technical office can develop and encode all types of mathematical files supplied by customers, and transform them quickly into a CAM file, avoiding geometry errors and ensuring absolute reliability and quality.
CMM Lab has been cooperating with Open Mind, a software house, for a long time. Together they developed new processing strategies to improve the performance of CMM Lab systems.
